Description:
The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) and the Greater Miami Valley myVeteran Community are teaming up to host a veterans resources and job fair on Wednesday, May 18, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. This is a free event for all veterans and their families.
The event, "Vets Moving Forward," will feature veteran service organizations, companies looking to hire veterans and opportunities for veterans to network with one another.
Some of the services that will be available include:
- Veterans resource fair
- Veterans job fair
- Disabled American Veterans assistance with disability claims
- Dayton VA Medical Center enrollment
- Montgomery County veteran ID cards
Montgomery County RTA and Green CATS will provide free round-trip transportation for this event to veterans and their family members. Veterans should show identification, a DD 214, or pick up a token at the VA Medical Center.
