Winter Break University Closure
December 7, 2022
Franklin University will be closed for Winter Break from Friday, Dec. 23, 2022 through Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023, reopening Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. Please read through the following items to be sure you are prepared for the closure and the start of the Spring 2023 term:
- Register for Spring 2023 Trimester and pay your tuition bill at selfservice.franklin.edu
- All forms complete and signed for financial aid
- Fill out deferred tuition form
- Submit payment through check, money order or credit card
- Buy books
- If your course does not already have the required book embedded, you can order books online through the Bookstore link on myFranklin.
- If you are utilizing financial aid, and have available funds after tuition is paid, you may be eligible for a book voucher. Beginning Dec. 5, emails will be sent to eligible students informing them of their voucher eligibility with instructions and login information on how to use the voucher.
- If your classes start the week of Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 login to your course website and complete assignments for first week of class
- If you are planning to graduate following the Spring 2023 Trimester (May 2023) please complete your online graduation application by logging into myFranklin. The deadline is Monday, Jan. 23, 2023 by 6 p.m. EST.

In addition, effective Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 the in-person services hours for the Otte Student Services Center on Franklin University’s downtown campus will be will be amended to reflect service needs. The new hours can be found here. Virtual services and support will remain unchanged.
