Are you a college or graduate student interested in politics, law, communications or public service? Congressman Mike Carey’s office is currently offering internship opportunities in both the Washington, D.C. and District offices for the fall, spring and summer trimesters.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Enrolled in college or graduate school
• Strong academic record and extracurricular involvement
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

This internship provides students from Ohio colleges and universities with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a congressional office. Interns play a key role in supporting daily operations including, constituent communications, legislative research, attending hearings and briefings and leading Capitol tours.
