Franklin University’s embedded dissertation process starts when you enter the program. Our structured curriculum helps you advance your discipline knowledge as you investigate a theoretical framework, apply methodologies and construct your own research protocol. With dissertation-specific courses, faculty-supported mentoring, milestone checklists, and other resources and support, you can accelerate degree completion while minimizing stress and uncertainly.

The GMAT or GRE may not be required for graduate program admission at Franklin.

If you’ve earned a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, and your GPA is above a 3.0, the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for admission into any of Franklin’s doctoral programs.
