The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) strives to elevate the art and science of teaching through inspiring and empowering educators. We are dedicated to fostering a dynamic culture and adaptive community that is committed to student-centered learning through our instructional support services, collaborative partnerships, research-based best practices, and innovative approaches.

The Faculty Development Committee (FDC) acts as a representative of the full- and part-time faculty of the university regarding issues related to faculty development. The committee works in collaboration with other university departments to establish priorities, plan for, and promote faculty development.  Additionally, the FDC hosts professional development lunches and Faculty Forums and invites all active Franklin instructors to attend.
