How It Works

Step 1: Finish your associate degree at Greenville Technical College

Earn your associate degree at Greenville Technical College and keep the credit you’ve earned when you transfer to Franklin to finish your bachelor's degree.

Step 2: Apply online to Franklin

Complete Franklin’s admission application quickly and easily online. Transfer credit will not be evaluated for acceptance until you’ve applied for admission.

Step 3: Send us your transcripts

Submitting electronic transcripts is the fastest way for Franklin University to receive your official transcript. Check with your previous institution to see if this is an option instead of having a paper copy mailed to us. Electronic transcripts should be emailed to transcripts@franklin.edu.

Please allow 7-10 days for your transcript to arrive at Franklin. There is no cost for us to receive and evaluate your transcript.
If your transcripts are being sent to us by mail, please have them mailed in an official, sealed envelope to this address:

Franklin University
ATTN: Office of Transfer and Articulation
201 S. Grant Ave.
Columbus, OH 43215-5339

Transferring less than 24 hours of college credit? Please submit an official high school transcript.

Step 4: Speak with an admission advisor

A Franklin admissions advisor will call you to review your application and the transfer process.

Step 5: Finish your bachelor’s degree at Franklin

Once your community college credit evaluation is complete and your credits are transferred, you’ll be ready to earn your bachelor’s degree from Franklin. Take your bridge courses at Greenville Technical College or Franklin, and then finish your bachelor’s degree coursework online with Franklin.
