Foundational knowledge necessary for the assessments required to qualify for an Ohio Resident Educator License are woven throughout your coursework. Primary Education students will also be equipped to excel on the OAE Foundations of Reading assessments. All students must pass the Ohio Assessment for Educators (OAE) content assessments before student teaching and students are encouraged to take the OAE pedagogy test during the student teaching experience to ensure they are living the pedagogical experience.
