b'The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS), led by Matthew M. Damschroder, is committed to providing quality centralized services, specialized support and innovative solutions to state agencies, boards and commissions as well as local governments and state universities. We have more than 40 program areas serving our Ohio government customers, who in turn directly serve the interests of Ohio citizens. To provide these services, DAS is organized into the divisions of Equal Opportunity, General Services and Human Resources as well as the Office of Collective Bargaining and Office of Information Technology.Office of Administrative Services (ASD) provides administrative, financial, legal, communications and human resources support to the DAS Director and state agency-facing business units of DAS. The Central Services Agency is also a part of the Administrative Support Division. The Central Services Agency provides human resources and fiscal service to customer boards and commissions. Office of Collective Bargaining (OCB) serves as the principal labor relations representative for the State of Ohio as the employer. OCB negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements with five unions representing 15 bargaining units.Office of Equal Opportunity Division (EOD)enforces the states affirmative action and equal employment opportunity policies and administers the states procurement preference programs for minority-owned, women-owned, and socially and economically disadvantaged businesses. Office of General Services (GSD) provides direct service to state agencies in areas from printing to real estate with a focus on creating efficiencies and adhering to statewide standards. GSD is comprised of seven distinct back- office service areas the Office of Procurement Services, Office of State Printing and Mail Services, Office of Risk Management, Office of Fleet Management, Office of Real Estate and Planning, Office of Properties and Facilities, and State and Federal Surplus Services. Office of Human Resources (HRD) administers the states human resources operations. Services offered include policy development, payroll administration, benefits administration, classification and compensation, drug testing, central recruiting, training and development, workforce planning, and records maintenance. The Office of LeanOhio also housed in HRD. The mission of LeanOhio is to make government services in Ohio simpler, faster, better and less costly through teaching, coaching and spreading the concepts of Lean and Six Sigma throughout state government. Office of Information Technology (OIT)provides information technology services and guidance to state agencies in order to promote secure and effective use of information technology. Services that OIT delivers are enterprise information technology and telecommunication services, policy and standards development, lifecycle investment planning, and privacy and security management.'
