Benefits Department Work Study Assistant

The Benefits Department in the office of Human Resources at Franklin University is seeking a work study assistant.  This individual will provide administrative and front desk support to the Department.  Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting customers at front desk; answering phones; organization of employee benefit files; processing, tracking and filing employee benefit paperwork); scheduling (coordinate meetings for department, new hire training, and orientation); maintaining up to date forms and resources (making copies and assembling packets); benefits and wellness event support (assisting with planning, attending events when possible); providing support with catering requests, ordering promotional items; and assisting with tuition waiver tracking.

Hours are flexible and will vary depending on the candidate’s availability and the workload of the department. The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours a week, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8-5.

Candidate must: be detail oriented; dependable; able to multi task; have outstanding customer service skills (face-to-face & phone); be proficient with Microsoft Office products; have strong communication skills; be a team player; have problem solving skills; strong technical ability; be able to work independently and be self-directed; and have excellent organizational skills.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
