Thomas Seiler

Thomas Seiler, D.B.A., J.D., CPA - Program Chair

Dr. Seiler has accumulated more than 20 years of accounting expertise, having been employed by public firms and corporate organizations. Additionally, he has five years of corporate legal experience from his time at an international financial institution. Dr. Seiler has been a Franklin faculty member since 2002.

Charles Saunders, Jr.

Charles Saunders, Jr., Ph.D., MA, MBA, CIA, CCSA - Lead Faculty

Dr. Saunders specializes in auditing and forensic accounting. He amassed over 25 years of internal audit experience while employed at American Electric Power, where he performed control self-assessment, audit planning, risk assessment, and control reviews. Dr. Saunders is active with the Institute of Internal Auditors and holds a doctorate from The Ohio State University.

Tom Hrubec

Tom Hrubec, Ed.D., CPA, CMA, CFE - Lead Faculty

Dr. Hrubec has more than 25 years of experience with accounting consultation and education. He previously was a consultant for Caterpillar, Inc. and has co-authored two books focusing on managerial accounting. Dr. Hrubec holds several professional credentials, along with a Doctorate in Education from Illinois State University.
