Franklin University, one of the leading educators of working adults in Central Ohio, is pleased to announce the rebranding of its Center for Professional Training & Development (CPTD) as the Center for Continuing Education (CCE). As part of the new identity, participants will have access to a new learning portal and expanded course offerings, while internal staff and faculty will enjoy a new business model and improved central operations.
Existing and new users will access the new learning portal and offerings through ce.franklin.edu. The portal allows greater learner options and opportunities by providing a one-stop shop for access and services. Participants can create an account, register for courses, complete (online) courses at their own pace, print completion certificates, and view learner transcripts all in one system, 24/7.
Through its new partnership with Skillsoft, more than 340 online, self-paced courses are now available through CCE, covering some of the hottest topics across a wide range of industries, including courses in business & professional skills, computing & technology, and safety & security. Many of CCE’s existing courses will continue to be offered along with new courses such as the EVC™ Certification programs which teach the Enterprise Value Creation methodology. EVC™ certifications provide the necessary skills and competence for communicating and measuring the value created with new projects, solutions and/or process improvement initiatives.
