Profile

Dr. Mohammad Abu Shattal is an academic leader and researcher specializing in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on 5G/6G networks and cloud computing systems. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with research interests that include cloud-enabled systems, Internet of Things (IoT), wireless and mobile networks, adaptive communication systems, and cloud-native architectures. He has contributed to federally funded and multi-institutional research projects supported by organizations such as the National Science Foundation and NASA. His research experience includes system modeling, simulation, and experimental prototyping of cognitive and adaptive wireless communication and radar systems, with outcomes published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Dr. Abu Shattal brings extensive teaching experience across undergraduate and graduate programs, with a strong emphasis on workforce readiness and applied learning.
