Franklin University Marks 182nd Spring Commencement on May 31

Columbus, OH - Franklin University will celebrate its 182nd Spring Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 31, at 2 p.m. (ET) at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

This Spring ceremony recognizes graduates whose educational journeys reflect Franklin’s mission in action, students who advanced their academic goals while balancing careers, family responsibilities, and commitments to their communities. Graduates will be joined by family, friends, and the Franklin community to mark the completion of an important personal and professional milestone.

Representing 1,194 new graduates, the Spring 2026 graduates hail from 47 states and 26 countries. Among those represented within this Commencement ceremony are the first graduates of the University’s M.S. Professional Sales Leadership program, and Miranda Cramer, recipient of the full ride USA Union Scholarship.

The student address will be delivered by Jamie Walsh, who is completing her master’s in business psychology. Jamie is a senior organizational development consultant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she partners with leaders and teams to strengthen culture, leadership and collaboration across a complex healthcare environment.
