For-Credit Certificates

Learners get the support they need to succeed by blending the flexibility of online coursework with the expertise of Franklin’s practitioner-based faculty. Courses start each term and programs can be completed in less than one year. In addition, certificate completers can transfer up to 17 credits toward one of Franklin’s undergraduate degree programs.

Self-paced Certification Preparation Programs

In partnership with MedCerts, Franklin provides access to nearly 20 in-demand online certificate programs. The self-paced courses provide foundational knowledge to help learners successfully earn the credentials necessary for entry-level allied healthcare roles. Learners who complete the preparation courses through Franklin’s partnership can earn college credit toward Franklin degrees.

At Franklin University, students can connect the job-specific credentials they’ve earned, and the college credits they need, to provide a seamless path to long-term career growth. 

With our MyCertificates & Training tool, the University has pre-evaluated certifications for industry-recognized proficiencies and awards credit that equates to specific Franklin courses, as well as technical- or elective-credit requirements. Students who choose to enroll at Franklin as degree-seeking students, save time and money toward their degrees by building on prior learning credit.
