Nationwide Corporate Connections Scholarship

You are invited to apply for the Corporate Connections Scholarship, which is awarded for the 2023/2024 school year. Scholarship awards start at $1,500. All undergraduate or graduate degree students at Franklin University who satisfy the following scholarship requirements are eligible:

General Scholarship Requirements:

  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate and minimum of 3.0 for graduate degree students
  • Must reside in Columbus, Ohio area
  • Resume is required with application
  • Full-time Franklin University employees are not eligible to apply (Excludes work study students) 
  • African America males (preferred) or other students of color
  • Resident of Franklin County, Delaware County, Fairfield County, Licking County, Union County, Madison County, Pickaway County

Additional Areas of Focus:

In addition to other items deemed relevant, applicants should identify in her/his resume or a cover letter if one or more of the following criteria is applicable to her/him:

  • On-campus community service
  • Off-campus community service
  • Student organization involvement and leadership
  • Other leadership opportunities
  • Foreign study
  • Foreign work experience
  • Mental health issues
  • First person in family to attend college or university
  • Single Parent

Please consider submitting a 1-page cover letter explaining your background, why you believe that you would be an excellent candidate for the scholarship and any other information that you feel would be helpful for the scholarship committee to know about you.
