Have university elective credit hours remaining? Not a problem. University electives are a great way to add an academic minor or do a dual major. To discuss adding a minor or second major, please set up an appointment with your academic advisor.

Academic Minor
Most academic minors at Franklin are 16-17 credit hours. They are a fantastic way to develop a new set of skills that either complements your major or allows you to gain knowledge in a different field. Click here to see the full list of available academic minors.

Dual Major
Many students pursue a bachelor’s degree with only one declared major. Did you know that you can declare more than one major for your degree? If you still need university electives, you can use those credit hours towards pursuing an additional major(s). Some majors might have similar course requirements that can overlap.
