Tom Hrubec, Ed.D., CPA, CMA, CFE - Program Chair
Dr. Hrubec has more than 25 years of experience with accounting consultation and education. He previously was a consultant for Caterpillar, Inc. and has co-authored two books focusing on managerial accounting. Dr. Hrubec holds several professional credentials, along with a Doctorate in Education from Illinois State University.
Alan Rogers, MBA, CPA - Lead Faculty
Professor Rogers has 14 years of practical accounting experience coupled with nearly 25 years of teaching at the university level. He has been employed in several sectors, including retail, financial, and public accounting, and held the positions of regional manager and vice president of lending. Alan is a CPA registered in Ohio.
Charles Saunders, Jr., Ph.D., MA, MBA, CIA, CCSA - Lead Faculty
Dr. Saunders specializes in auditing and forensic accounting. He amassed over 25 years of internal audit experience while employed at American Electric Power, where he performed control self-assessment, audit planning, risk assessment, and control reviews. Dr. Saunders is active with the Institute of Internal Auditors and holds a doctorate from The Ohio State University.
