Many of Franklin University’s international students like to work at the university during their studies. By working at the university, students can earn extra income while working in an environment that is familiar to them. The below information can help give you an idea of what to expect from this type of opportunity.

On-Campus Employment

International students on F-1 status are eligible to work on campus 20 hours a week while school is in session. There is no hourly limitation during scheduled breaks. There is no limit to the total period of on-campus employment in which students may engage.

Students are eligible to begin employment immediately upon being admitted to the United States in F-1 status. Pursuant to Department of State regulations, this may be as much as 30 days before classes begin.

Available on-campus jobs are being posted here. F-1 students may apply for any student or graduate assistant positions.
