07 Clocktower | Answering the Nation’s Call for Nurses WHITE COAT CEREMONIES COMMEMORATE MILESTONES For students in advanced practice nursing tracks, the White Coat Ceremony marks an important transition between coursework and clinical rotation. Traditionally, receiving one’s white coat is a moment of pride that underscores compassion, professionalism, and ethical conduct for all who wear it. Whether participants are in Ohio or thousands of miles away, the ceremony, which is held virtually twice each year, reminds students that they are advancing their credentials in work that is rooted in service. They are also carrying on Franklin’s legacy of preparing leaders who are ready to meet the needs of their communities. HELP MARK THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF FRANKLIN’S ASPIRING APRNs Franklin’s nursing programs demonstrate the University’s continued commitment to meeting workforce needs with practical, high-quality, student- centered education.
