Adjunct Faculty-Tax

Franklin University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach tax courses within our B.S. in Financial Planning Program.  The course introduces the federal income taxation and the role of the tax code in the financial planning field. Topics include the tax environment, fundamentals of income tax planning, the measurement of taxable income, the taxation of business income, individual income taxation, and the tax compliance process.  The 12-week courses will be taught online, starting Spring Term 2025 (January – March). 

Position Requirements: A minimum of 5 years progressive practical experience in the financial planning profession with emphasis on the areas of taxation.  A designation in CFP and CPA/EA is preferred.  Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in financial planning/tax field is required.  Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
