Designed to give firefighters the knowledge and skills necessary to advance to the role of Fire Officer, this 10-week course provides a way for current officers to enhance their understanding of fire officer roles and responsibilities. All participants will develop their leadership capabilities and apply critical concepts in team dynamics, increase their understanding of pertinent laws and regulations, and learn methods for building community involvement.

 

This hybrid course provides a flexible way for firefighters to advance as the bulk of learning time is done online, with just three on-site sessions at Franklin University’s main campus for hands-on skill development. The course complies with al NFPA standards and is approved for college credit at Franklin University.

 

Course Dates: Friday, Feb 22 - Saturday, May 4th

On-Site Session Dates: Fri, Feb 22; Sat, March 30; and Sat, May 4, 2019

Student Cost: $600
