M.Ed. in Educational Leadership K-12 Building-Level Leadership Focus
The online M.Ed. in Educational Leadership with a focus in K-12 Building-Level Leadership provides learners with industry-standard knowledge to become effective leaders in education. Aligned with standards set forth by the National Educational Leadership Preparation Program (NELP), learners develop a deep understanding of what constitutes an education leader, key responsibilities, and the significance of ethics, laws, and values included in this role.

Designed for the busy working adult, Franklin’s convenient online courses are equipped to challenge learners while making a difference that extends beyond the school’s walls.

Franklin’s Educational Leadership K-12 Building-Level Leadership provides leaders with a specific focus area course while diving into the curriculum and intervention strategies that help students excel in supportive, culturally responsive, and inclusive cultures within the elementary, middle, and high school environments. As Franklin challenges its learners within the program, learners then become prepared leaders, ending the program with its capstone research project, which includes a required “school improvement” development plan, addressing leadership, management, and educational issues through the lens of one’s master’s level studies.

M.Ed. in Educational Leadership Higher Education Leadership Focus
Franklin’s Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership with a focus in Higher Education Leadership is a theory-to-practice program, designed to provide skills in leading and managing culture, people, and programs that support the development and well-being of learners.

Advancing higher education leaders for qualified roles faster, Franklin’s streamlined 12-month, 100% online program is tailored to fit the busy working adult with its one class at a time model.

Through Franklin’s focus area course, learners are provided with a deep dive into student affairs theory and practice. This specific focus defines how mission, governance, and culture impact the delivery of services to students. Applying this knowledge, learners are then set up with strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, along with collaborating with stakeholders, and methods to enhance student learning and development.
