Description:
An introductory business course that helps students learn business terminology and provides preliminary study into the areas of economics, global business, ethics, business ownership, business management, human resource management, marketing, accounting and finance.

Outcomes:

  • Identify, define, and use basic business vocabulary
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the functional areas of business
  • Develop an interest in and an understanding of current business events by relating them to course content
  • Develop research and APA writing format skills
