DATA300 - Introduction to Analytics

Description:
This course introduces the fundamentals of Business and Data Analytics. Students will learn business problem framing, data wrangling, descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, and data storytelling in analytics.

Outcomes:

  • Describe data and evaluate its quality.
  • Prepare and clean data for purposes of analytics.
  • Apply descriptive statistics and data visualization techniques to summarize data.
  • Apply several inferential statistical analysis methods to help to make decisions.
  • Conduct analysis using major statistical software and interpret its results.
