GRPH310 - Advanced Graphic Design

Description:
In this course, a strong focus is placed on preparing students to effectively communicate ideas and information to business and consumer audiences through graphic design. Students will learn to apply these principles using traditional methods supported by computer technology.

Outcomes:

  • Apply the design process to solve a design problem
  • Identify, create, or design appropriate images for use in layouts
  • Create a design using type and image in a unified manner using advanced techniques
  • Apply the concepts of usability when designing
  • Design a comprehensive visual program to create a portfolio
  • Work with a fictional client to create deliverables for a design project
