Community College Partnerships
Increase Graduation Rates With 3+1 and Pathway Portal Partnerships
Help your students reach their education potential by becoming a Franklin University community college partner. Together, we’ll engage your students in start-to-finish, stay-in-the-community degree programs that begin with associate degree credits at your institution, followed by bachelor’s degree credits at ours.
Our partnerships, which include 3+1 transfer partnerships and the Pathway Portal $298 per credit hour tuition rate for eligible students, are designed to improve your retention rates, graduation outcomes, tuition revenue and more. Plus, your faculty and staff can take advantage of our free professional development opportunities, and exclusive tuition reduction program.
Pathway Portal + $298 Tuition=One of the Nation’s Best Transfer Options
A shared belief in the importance of degree completion has fueled Franklin’s 3+1 partnerships with community and technical colleges for more than 30 years. With the addition of the Pathway Portal, partner institutions are able to make transfer and articulation information more relevant for students by providing it in a way that is personalized, timely and actionable.
Developed collaboratively with Edison State Community College in 2021, the Pathway Portal is an innovative, user-friendly online tool that provides students with real-time information on how their associate degree credits apply toward each of Franklin’s bachelor’s programs to create a cost-effective and seamless transfer experience.
Beginning in fall 2023, all community colleges that partner with Franklin to offer the Pathway Portal will secure a $298 tuition rate for bachelor’s degree courses at Franklin for all students who:
- Opt in to the Pathway Portal
- Earn an associate degree from the partner community college
- Apply through the Pathway Portal
