Franklin University Appoints Dr. Jessica Chambers as Dean of Students

After an extensive search of qualified candidates, Franklin University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jessica Chambers as the new Dean of Students.  With a wealth of experience in higher education and student affairs, Dr. Chambers brings a deep understanding of the needs of post-traditional students and a strong commitment to student success.

In her role, Dr. Chambers will guide the university’s student affairs efforts, providing strategic direction for academic advising, community standards, career development, student communication and student life.  Her alignment with Franklin’s student-focused mission is demonstrated through her extensive commitment to student-centered service, having served in the Dean of Students role at two other institutions.  Her extensive background, combined with her passion for student advocacy, makes her a valuable addition to the Franklin University leadership team.

Dr. Chambers earned her doctorate in education at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, as well as a master’s degree in human resources and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication.  She will be a key contributor to the university’s ongoing commitment to providing a high-quality, relevant education to the broadest possible community of learners.
